Broadacre crop protection
When Richard Porter started a business in 2002 that would ultimately become AgXtra, the core activities focused on broad acre crop protection research. The business now conducts hundreds of trials in this area every year.
AgXtra generates high-quality data in all aspects of applied R&D in broadacre cropping systems. Areas of study include the development of new herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators, in-furrow application technology, biologicals and bio-stimulants, seed care, and farming system/rotation effects.
